I never thought I would ever be able to really talk about my story, talk about the very abuse that kept me locked in shame, chains… for years. Girl Like Me is the start of that conversation, a reinvention of my freedom. For me, healing is continuous, and it started when I discovered my voice. For others, healing has not started, and I pray my testimony be a pathway to discovery for girls who are just like me.
