I took this picture my first morning at Legacy Conference. I went for a run past the Chicago River, and I stopped mid bridge just to listen. God spoke to me through a subtle observation.

I am like a bridge… connecting the world to Jesus. I am like a bridge who sometimes carries heavy weight, who has had to endure rain and storms, but continues to stand firm. I am like a bridge that constantly needs reparation yet continues to be used for the sole purpose of getting others to the other side…

“I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God has given us an assignment. I pray for those placed on my path by God. I pray they will see His salt and light through me so that they may taste and see Gods goodness. I pray God can use us (Christ followers) as a bridge, and that we willingly and openly allow those who are searching for the right directions to come on board. Gods kingdom is waiting…
