Repeat this out LOUD. It Is Well With My Soul.
Now believe it.

As I prepare to serve and live in Ecuador for a minimum of two years, I have developed valuable life lessons.

  1. Patience
  2. Perseverance
  3. Passion

The 3 P’s.

At 51% of my fundraising I praise God! Two years ago, I had visions and dreams of being among my people in Ecuador. I saw prisoners faces whom I had met in Guayaquil and would have the sincere inclination to pray for them. I would have dreams of holding hands of many children in the streets of Ecuador. My body was physically in New York, but my heart and mind was in Ecuador.

It’s really almost incomprehensible. Unless of course you have ever had a dream, a vision and a sense of calling and assurance of your purpose in this life. Despite the doubt, the falls, the rejection from family and friends who thought (some still think) it crazy I go live in Ecuador, I kept pursuing this vision.

Today and often lately as I wake up and check my email to see another donation go into my fund, sometimes from people I’ve never met, or met once in my life, I am reminded that God will do what He said He will do. It won’t be easy on the flesh. It is a continuous spiritual fight, but it is all worth it. I promise.

NIV Romans 11:29

for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
