Don’t allow busyness or tiredness to make you forget the love for your work. I’m not talking about the 9-5 that you hate. I am talking about your work. Repeat this mantra, “I love what I do”. When you feel drained it is easy to forget why you sing, why you write, why you are taking the courses you are taking in school, why you joined the ministry you joined, etc. The moment your work stops being fun is the moment to take a step back and remember why you started, why you pursued that goal, that carreer, that dream. Dreams change, and that is ok. But we should never feel like our calling is a burden.
Jesus said in Matthew 11: 28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

SELAH.

Meditate not on your to-do list but the fun and the joy that comes from living out your God-given purpose and fulfilling that call put on you.

This is my mantra for today and I walk in my calling, I LOVE WHAT I DO.
