Don’t stop dreaming because your vision is coming to life. What happens when God does what he says he would do? What happens after all the hard work pays off? Does your hunger die off or does your vision expand?
Today I watched Hidden Figures. Tears streamed down my face throughout the movie as the main characters were belittled. As opportunities were negated. I was reminded that so often women’s work goes unnoticed. Especially when that woman is of color. In a time where it feels we are not going forward but backwards in women’s rights, how can we believe in the possibilities for women in the world?

Everything that weighs you down at work, at home, in your circumstance is not worth carrying around with you.
We give these things power when we dwell in them. Let go of your pride, self-pity, and the hurt and helplessness you are carrying. Let go of anything that makes you feel less than able today. Jesus invites us to accept his peace.
